Welcome to FOS LIVING eco salon spa store.  We are proud to be Long Island's first eco-friendly, clean air salon and spa.  FOS is the Greek word for LIGHT or sometimes refer to as the energy from the sunlight, is one of the most essential need for a healthy life. Our family owned store welcomes you with a complimentary consultation for haircut/style, organic color, sun kissed highlights, organic noni facials, eyebrow and natural makeup application.  Our eco store is friendly and fun with an array of homemade soaps and unique gift ideas from around the world. FOS ORGANICS is 100% organic skin care. No GMO seeds. Our honey, from Ikaria Greece feeds on non hybrid and genetically altered plants. American bees feed on hybrid and GMO plants and that is why the poor little bees are sick. Our Hair Colors are free from Ammonia( no substitutes), p-phenylenedines, heavy metals, parabens, paraffins, silicones and formaldenydes. We are introducing Sanotint Hair Color System from Italy and two new color lines from Germany. Incredible results. Covers Grey and lasts as long as conventional colors.

What's not in our products?
We use and recommend organic hair, skin and body products because they are of the highest quality and contain no harsh chemicals, pesticides, synthetic insecticides, fungicides or genetically modified ingredients. Organic farming also saves our resources and keeps soil and water in its natural state therefore protecting the planet and your health. We are introducing the best shampoo, conditioners and hair shine products called BELEGENZA. Free of Parabens, Silicone, Acrylate, Paba, Phthalates, Petroleum, Mineral oil, SD Alcohol and Sodium Laurate Acid.  We also are carrying Intelligent Nutrients a high antioxidant, super smooth, non frizzy, scalp and hair nourishing, non toxic shampoo and conditioner with color protection system. Formulated without sulfates, parabens, silicones, ethoxylates, peg, phthlates and synthetic fragrances. Former owner of Aveda, Horst recently lauched his new line and we love it!!!!

A Greek philosopher, Epicurus, helped to inspire Hope and Jeanie, formerly of OMORPHY SALON, to create FOS LIVING. Epicurus believed people should remain creative, curious and continue in life seeking wisdom. In order to share information on health and beauty, we created an environment online and in our eco salon spa and store to inspire people to network and learn from one another. One thing we learned is that not all green, natural and organic is created equal. My sister and I will bring our customers only the best hair, skin, body care, health products and service ideas from around the world. Recent research suggests that the average women, man and child are exposed to over 3000 chemicals before leaving your home in the morning. Our liver is designed to work on one thing at a time. The liver is trying to render these chemicals harmless and stops working on digestion and assimilation of foods. It's probably one of the main reasons people are aging so quickly.
